Mistletoe Martini


Well, it’s that time of the year again, Christmas has now come and gone, and Boxing Day is time to relax, unwind from all the festivites and reflect on the wonderful times.

I have been MIA for a while here, since our November trip to Jamaica and then only a couple of weeks after our return to prepare for the holidays.

I want to wish everyone HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Hope this season brings you joy and happiness with your loved ones.

Took time to concoct a new martini and it was delious…

MistletoeMartini

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Crown Royal rye whiskey
1 oz Grand Marnier
2 oz Gingerale
Squeeze of lime juice
Ice
Cherries
1 tbsp Sugar
Green food colouring

Prepare

On a plate cover the bottom with 1 tbsp sugar. Add two or three drops of green food colouring and mix with the sugar. Spread evenly on the bottom of the plate reaching the outsides. Rim the martini glass with lime and place face down on the plate and rim the edges with the sugar mixture.

Either in a shaker or free pour, add the ingredients along with the ice. If using a shaker mix well by shaking and then pour.

Garnish with cherries and Enjoy!
