A wonderful appetizer that is deliciously cheezy and with a delightful taste of garlic.
1 can of Escargot ( approzimately 40 small ones )
1/4 cup red wine
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp virgin oil
1 tsp parsely
Drain escargot and soak in red wine for 30 mintues. Add virgin oil to a skillet and saute garlic. Add the escargot with the wine and simmer for a few minutes until most of the wine is gone.
Add the escargot garlic mixture to seashell dishes and top with grated cheese. Add add panko bread crumbs and top with parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. You can also toast garlic bread and the same time. Broil at the end for a few minutes and serve.
Pair with a wine of choice and enjoy!
