Sirloin Oscar with Shrimp & Scallops
8 oz. top sirloin medallion
10 medium to large shirmp
1 cup scallops
1/2 lb. asparagus
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 package hollandaise sauce
Season steaks with and let sit at room temp for at least 1/2 hour
Cut asparagus tips less than half way down. ( mostly using tips for this recipe ) Save the rest of the stalks for making soup. ( will add this recipe )
Saute mushrooms, shrimp and scallops till cooked through. ( do not overcook )
Barbecue, broil or grill steak ( medium rare or desired tenderness )
Make hollandaise sauce as directed on package
Top Steak with asparagus, mushrooms, scallops and shrimp. Arrange attractively on top. Add hollandaise sauce on top or serve separately to control desired amount of sauce with steak.
Serve with baked potato, grilled tomatoes topped with cheese or garlic bread.
Garnish with lemon and parsley.
